"After a while we took in the clothes,
Nobody said very much.
Just some old wild shirts and a couple pairs of pants
Which nobody really wanted to touch.
Mama come in and picked up a book
An' Papa asked her what it was."
"Clothes Line" --Bob Dylan
A large mailart envelope stuffed with fun Dylan goodies came in today from Jo Anne Hill (rare earth) in the UK. Among the treasures is a cover and several pages from the book, "Bob Dylan" by Anthony Scaduto. Inside the cover the lyrics to "Masters of War" have been typed. Thank'zZ Jo Anne!

'bout time somebody wrote few words here in these comments boxes- Bob would want it that way.
I have this book somewhere I think the cover look s very firmiliar. Still reading Chronicles which i am enjoying though the rambling narrative does make me go back and read bit over again incase i missed a vital clue. Just up to the bit where he's met Cisco Huston. Huston is ill and close to death but hiding it well. Dylan goes to a party in Hustons honour at Camilla's a socialite ? bohemian? I forget what but meets all kin ds of famous and semi-faous people there, musicians, writers, dancers, artists, poets etc. the sort of people you meet on the internet but never in real life!
Thank'zZ for posting a comment here, Michael. I'm havin' a ball with the Dylan mailart call!
